Selling God's Way by Michael Hamer #bookreview #christian #nonfiction #business #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours

Maximize Your Income And Business Relationships

Business / Economics / Christian Living

Date Published: June 16, 2026

Publisher: Lucid Books Publishing

Selling God’s Way is a book that explains how to apply biblical principles to all aspects of professional selling: Prospecting, Questioning, Presenting, Closing, Servicing, and Handling Objections. Filled with biblical scripture and stories, the book presents the best way for any salesperson to maximize their income and business relationships, regardless of religion. Many people all over the world, and throughout all of time, believe that biblical wisdom remains the most valuable forever.

Review
Selling God's Way offers a refreshing perspective on business by showing that success and strong Christian values can go hand in hand.
Michael Hamer explains how honesty & integrity can actually strengthen business relationships and lead to long-term success.
I liked that the book wasn't just about increasing income. Throughout the book, the author also focused on building trust and serving people well.
The writing is easy to follow, and the practical examples make the lessons feel realistic.

About the Author

Michael P. Hamer is a lifelong salesperson whose journey in selling began at the age of seven on the streets of Gary, Indiana, where he sold eggs with his grandfather, a deeply religious man who helped shape Michael’s values and work ethic. Throughout high school and college, Michael continued honing his sales skills, selling products typical of his peers, books door-to-door in Los Angeles, and advertising space at a theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Michael graduated from Boston University with a degree in communications, concentrating in advertising and marketing. Following graduation, he spent nearly three decades in advertising sales within the radio and television industries in the Washington, DC market. Over the years, he held a wide range of leadership roles, including Account Executive and General Sales Manager.

In his final media position, Michael served as Sales Manager for WAVA Radio, a Christian teaching and talk radio station. Throughout his career, he earned numerous awards and recognition for both sales performance and management excellence. Despite his success, Michael observed a growing lack of service-minded behavior and people-centered priorities in business. Motivated by his love for salespeople and his deep commitment to God’s Word, he wrote Selling God’s Way to offer a faith-based approach to ethical selling that strengthens relationships, reduces stress, and aligns business success with biblical principles.

Beyond the Broad Path by John Frey #religion #christian #nonfiction #bookreview #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours

Embracing the Narrow Way of Certainty in Christ

Religion / Christian Living / Inspirational

Date Published: April 28, 2026

Publisher: Lucid Books Publishing

Is there a single path that can reach both the lukewarm believer and the skeptical non-believer? Beyond the Broad Path argues that there is. This book speaks to believers who have grown complacent, calling them back to their role as salt and light, while also inviting non-believers into an honest exploration that assumes no prior faith or biblical knowledge.

Grounded in today’s fractured cultural landscape, the book confronts the search for truth in a world of distraction, division, and digital isolation—not to condemn, but to reveal what these forces are replacing in the human heart. From there, it leads the reader to life’s ultimate crossroads and presents the only solution – Jesus Christ.

With fresh clarity, this book makes the case that Christ’s message is not outdated, but radically relevant—offering redemption, lasting joy, and peace that cuts through chaos. Drawing from Matthew 7:13–14, readers are challenged to recognize that time is finite and the choice of which road to walk is unavoidable.

If you are ready to trade anxiety for certainty and the noise of the world for the assurance of God’s truth, turn the page. The journey toward the narrow way begins now.

What the Heart Carries by Susan Appel #bookreview #christian #womensfiction #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours

One Secret, Two Lives

Women's Fiction / Family Life / Religious

Date Published: April 21st, 2026

Stephanie grew up cherished yet haunted by questions no one would answer. Carmine’s life, in contrast, was marked by tumult, loss, and an unrelenting search for belonging. What the Heart Carries traces their breathtaking discovery and the devastating tragedy that followed. At nce a story of grief and of redemption, it asks: How do we begin to heal when everything we know is torn apart?

Spanning from Brooklyn’s tight-knit neighborhoods to the sun-soaked streets of Florida, this is a powerful novel of family secrets, faith, and the unbreakable ties of blood. Inspired by true events, it is a story that will linger in your heart long after the final page.

Review

This touching novel by Susan Appel explores the many layers of the human heart.

It highlights the memories we hold and the relationships we carry with us. But it also touches on a deeper look into the struggles that make us who we become.

This was a reminder that healing often comes through connection, faith, and learning to let go of what weighs us down.

The characters were one of my favorite parts and the fact that we meet them and are given such a deep and encouraging message really made this a step above.

No Matter What by Stephen Suffron #bookreview #youngadult #christian #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours

Young Adult / Coming of Age / Christian

Date Published: April 14, 2026

Publisher: Clay Bridges Press

Most people don’t know quite what to make of Jay McGee. His teammates call him “Mac Daddy” ('90s slang for a smooth-talking ladies' man). But Jay is nothing like that. In fact, he just doesn’t fit neatly into any box—honors student, basketball player, church kid—and he’s okay with that, as long as two people notice: Coach Mays, the fiery perfectionist standing between Jay and his basketball dreams, and Nicole Ellis, the cheerleader he’s secretly liked since sixth grade.

When Jay finally seizes a moment of boldness with Nicole, he steps into new territory—only to discover her life is far more complicated than he ever imagined. Maybe he should just focus on basketball. Except Coach Mays seems blind to Jay’s potential, harping only on his flaws.

Caught between pressure, failure, and secrets no one talks about at Sunday school, Jay is forced to wrestle with deeper questions—about who he is, what he believes, and what it really means to be seen, to love, and to become someone worth noticing . . . no matter what.

What makes it unique:

This book provides a practical way for teens to engage with difficult questions and feel seen in the struggles they’re facing, while also being educational and presenting hard truths everyone will have to wrestle with. It helps the reader ask tough questions about who they are, who they want to be, where they want to go in life, and who they want to bring along on the journey.

The engaging characters and witty conversation pull in the reader and command attention and focus. This is not a story that will be read and quickly forgotten. Unlike generic "coming of age" books, No Matter What tackles the struggles of adolescence with taste and decency, allowing the reader to think and feel throughout the story without becoming unnecessarily uncomfortable or awkward.

Review
Wow, what an inspiring read that combines the emotional depth of a coming-of-age story with a strong Christian foundation.
The novel explores important themes such as family, friendship, personal growth, and faith in a way that feels accessible to younger readers. It's for young adults who are strong in their faith and will help to emphasize their beliefs.
